I AM WORKING ON ME FOR A LITTLE WHILE!!!
I am the type of person that like to help others out and I forget to work on me most of the time. So this is my time for me!
I am going to have to psych myself up to really get down and dirty and give actual numbers on this blog, but I think that facing it this way may be the only way I continue to move forward. I want to lose weight through exercise, healthier eating, and mental and spiritual peace. I know in my heart that I can do this, but I just may need a little push from some of you friends and family occasionally that keeps me going. If you have suggestions or ideas for me to reach a goal, please by all means share.
My first goal for this week is to start my walking back. I would like to start walking at least 5 days a week before work. I am going to start with this, because I think mentally this may be the best place for me to start. I like to talk to God and find inner peace when I walk in the mornings, so I think this is definitely doable.

ReplyDeleteI love to walk and walk every day. I find that walking with a friend is great. But if I don't have someone to walk with me, I take along my iPod with all the music I love. I could walk a million miles if I have good tunes. Staying motivated is key!
I've also chosen several different locations to walk - all beautiful loops that keep me refreshed. And I often think about themes before I go on a walk to think or talk about before I walk. It keeps the brain greased up...

ReplyDeleteSounds great!! I'm just getting back into walking again too. Even if you don't follow the plan in the book, I'd recommend reading "You:On a Diet", if you haven't already. It really helped me live and eat healthier because he explains, in simple terms, how your body works. It made it easier for me to make wise food and exercise choices when I really understood how my body works. Good luck! Let me know if you need anything.
